| Hi all,
Have been looking for a group like this for a about a year now. I'm an expat American living in northern England and married to a very popular and still rising comedian and tv actor. His new show hits the BBC in October, and I am terrified of all this celebrity junk! I am a stay at home Mom of three plus one extra on weekends, and I have built a good life and social circle for myself here. Thing is, the celebrity thing is getting weird with my friends AND his. The photos, the phenomenon of people thinking they should be privy to information about my family and marriage. I don't want this to come between me and the DH but it's getting weirder by the day. I don't really know what to do about all the attention, because I am not one of those skinny, beautiful spouses, and so I am not used to attention, people caring what I wear or who it is "by". I don't want to embarrass my DH so I have to get educated. Reallllly fast. How did things change for you guys when your spouses hit it big? How did you deal? How did you keep your kids from turning into brats?
