Childcare for a traveling mom

Hi everyone.  I'm a mother of a 6 month old.  I took 4 months off after I had her, but now I am back to work and am going to need to start traveling for business again soon.  I'm not sure how my husband is going to do it all while I'm gone.  I'm looking for a reliable daycare near us so that he can drop her off there during his work days.  It would save him the time of having to shuttle the baby to grandma and grandpa's everyday while I'm gone.

How do other traveling mom's handle this?

Does anyone have a good daycare or nanny share they can recommend?  We are in the Oakland Hills between Mills College and the Oakland Zoo.

Thanks!

Lindsey

Hi Lindsey!I just read your post today and was checking in to see if you found what you were looking for. I am not in your area but can think of many resources that would help in your search.

I travel, too and have had to juggle between daycare and grandparents, too! Thankfully my son will be in 1st grade next year and things will get easier. It was so hard for a while, there, though.

Wishing you luck and sending encouragement!

Robin
