lunch ideas for 17 month old
I am in need of some new lunch ideas for my 17 month old son. I feel like i give him the same things all the time. It makes me feel terrible. I can't wait till i can try peanut butter. I am open to any suggestions.

What types of food does he like now! Try mac and cheese, tuna and crackers, chicken nuggets and corn or broccli, ravioli, sloppy joes!

You could make a quesadilla too, I do that sometimes (my daughter is only 1 so I have to chop it up pretty good). You can sneak in some vegetbles that way too. I have the same problem--she isn't too keen on eating baby food anymore so I try to be creative but am not so good at it. I also make a big batch of meatballs and freeze them, so i can take them out one at a time and feed them to her when I can't think of anything else. Hope that sort of helps!

For menu ideas you can go to Gerber.com and check out their start healthy section. They offer a couple of menu samples.

Thank you for all of your suggestions. He eats grilled cheese a lot. He will eat turkey and cheese but not big on bread. He loves v8 (go figure). Sometimes when we have left overs from dinner he will have that but lunch is just so hard. He does like hotdogs chopped up good. I will have to try some of your ideas. I will let you know how it goes.
