Hello! I'm a sahm to my almost 6 month old baby boy. We live in the NEK of Vermont and am looking for friends! I moved here in Dec 2011 and only hang out with DF mother and her sisters, so being 25 I'd like to meet people my age and expecailly ones with children! 

Where is everyone else from?

Too bad we don't live closer to one another (I'm on Long Island, NY). I also find myself only hanging out with my husband, sisters, and mother. I need some mommy friends to have play dates and talk about all the things a SAHM goes through.

I know whow you feel! I'm very lonely, granted lo keeps me pretty entertained, but it's sad when the "high light" of your day is when your husband comes home :/ granted I do love him,. I just would LOVE to meet and hang out with other mom's as well. the only thing we have to meet anyone is Kindermusik, so we'll be trying that to be "more social"

I just signed up for an introductory class at The Little Gym for Sept. The only prob is those classes are so expensive. A little over $100/month just to go once a week. Hopefully I can meet someone on the day we go so I don't have to pay the money to go again! It's so frustrating and I'm so bad at small talk and meeting new people! Over the internet is a different story, but in person, I have a hard time just walking up to someone and saying "Hi." UGH!!
