New to group

Hi. I am new to this group. I have two young children. One boy who is 4 and a 2 1/2 year uld girl who has downs syndrome. She is a great kid, started the terrible two's. Thought at least one of my kids would be calm, but no such luck. She is just as wild as her brother. Ugh. She turns three this fall and will graduate out of first steps and into the school system. Terrified about this. Have been seeing so much on the news lately about teachers and special Ed care workers in the schools not treating these kids the way they should be treated. I am scared of that happening to my child and her being too young to tell me. Anyone out there have advice.
