I have had the same problem, and it's so frustrating! It's very, very difficult, but I think you need to stick to your guns about it. I followed Super Nanny's technique at naps and bedtime, and it takes TONS of patience, but it totally worked. I also think my son was going through a phase at the time, b/c he was difficult in other areas, as well. One thing I found out is that it is VERY important to have the same routine for naps and bedtime. If I did anything differant at bedtime, I would end up with a fight at nap time. And also to keep the routine on weekends. I never, ever skip naps, and never, ever skip routine. I feel like it's a sacrifice that I need to make during this time of my life, and I know that this too shall soon end;) |
