I just wanted to let you know, if you didn't already, there are a few moms groups and playgroups in the Harrisburg area on Meetup.com. There's Harrisburg East Stay at Home Moms, Harrisburg Family Fun Playgroup, Harrisburg Attachment Parenting Group, Cumberland Valley School District Moms, and a few groups in York, PA. There is also a Yahoo-based group (I think), Carlisle MOMS group. Another great place to meet moms and play is a cafe called, The Playhouse Cafe, in Lemoyne. They are super kid-friendly and have play areas for babies and for 2-8 year olds (theplayhousecafe.com). So, the kids play while mothers can actually have conversations and get to know each other. Another good resource is an e-newsletter called, Macaroni Kid Harrisburg and West Shore (harrisburg.macaronikid.com/). They tell you where all the kid-friendly community activities are etc.
