Hi, my name is Erin. My family -- husband of two years Jon, 21-month-old son Quinn -- recently moved to Michigan after being flooded in North Dakota. We have changed so much after going through such a devastation. I also lost my dog in the flood. The flood was a little less than a year ago, and about six months ago I lost my mom, as she was murdered. We now live close to my dad but I really don't have a support group and I don't mean to sound desperate, but I am. I'm just being honest. My family has been through a lot recently, but something amazing came out of it all. God answered my husbands prayer a year ago, before the flood and everything that followed, and we were blessed with Brooks, our 3-month-old son. He is the most patient loving baby I've ever saw. I hope someone sees this posting, and does not judge me and sees that I just need a friend. My son Quinn is in dire need of a nice boy or two to play with.
