Sleepers
Does anyone know of a brand of sleeping onsies, (the ones with the feet, zippers or snaps) that fit properly?
My daughter is 6 mths old and we have the Gerber sleepers size 6-9 mths old and they still seem to be to tight in the crotch and toes. We even put a 12 mth size one on her and it still seems to be tight. She is not a big girl, she's actually only in the 75%tile, she's 16.9 lbs and 26" long.

Lorena . . my 10 mo is a little longer and 17 1/2 lbs. (tall and skinny like her daddy lol) and we went to target under the 12mo clothes section and got her a set of real PJs! They are t-shirt tops & shorts as the bottoms! I like them because middle of the night diaper changes, or right before bed changes are a wiz! I just put socks on her if it's a colder night (and a blanket, of course), but she's on the warm side usually and stays warm in just her PJs and a blanket. We tried the sleep gowns that are supposed to help against SIDS but once they start crawling and walking, those are realistic, in my opinion lol
hope that helps!

I noticed that gerber runs small, I like the carters brand (also just one year, also carters). Emilie is chubby and tall so I always get pj's at least one size too big, since they are cotton they shrink even in cold water. As far as the onsies underware that snap in the crotch, they make extenders for them. I found some on line that have different size snaps to fit with most brands.

I had the same problem with my son. It's not so much the outfit but being blessed with a long child. It a good thing. I finally just put him in jumpers with no feet and used socks. Which actually is good because now at 3yrs old he likes to wear socks all the time so I don't ifght him to put his socks on. If anything he gets upset if i tell him he doesn't need socks today. As well my son never really liked the jumpers with feet.

I use sleepers from Children's Place. I find them the best fitting. Apparently, sleepers are to be worn snug-fitting. But the ones from Children's Place are not too tight and easy to get on. Carter's I found to be too tight to get on. Even Disney Store sleepers are not too tight. Hope this helps.
