I joined a group called Ohio Mamas. We're in the Springfield, Enon area and I don't think there are any other groups like us around. You can find upcoming open activities on www.meetup.com and just go to one. Once you've met us, if you want to join you just fill out a short form and pay $24 dues, and then you'll find out about our playdates at people's houses. We're a small but pretty active group. We try to have at least one activity a week, we bring meals to moms that have just had babies or surgery, and we have a mom's night out once a month. Most of the stuff we do is free, and it's really laid back-you can be as active or inactive as you want to be.
We actually are meeting today at 10:30 at Enon park. You can bring a sack lunch.
