I find myself getting insanely angry at how the kids I co-parent eat. I try so hard to get them to eat some form of nutrient & I get met with resistance every. single. time. When they're with their mother they eat McDonalds. Every day. Their father (my other half) wants to provide for them but he & I only get them on the weekends. I know it's a problem that every parent struggles with, trying to get their kids to eat healthy but I feel like I'm hitting resistance on every side. My guy just wants them to eat, I just want them to eat vegetables, maybe I need help finding tricks of the trade? Recepies? Anyone? I feel like I put so much thought & effort into them coming before they get here, ie, vacuum & shampoo the carpet, sanitize the counters & all the toys, & think about how I can get them to eat something decent. Then they get here & scream until they get pizza. I need help. Healthy step families? Does anyone have advice? I might've hit my breaking point with this.
