Hey All,

Just wanted to give an update or two: Leah did pretty well with the sticker chart throughout her first week and was able to earn 22 stickers! She caught on quick and has even done somethings things on her chart without having to be prompted. But we shall see how long that lasts.  Anywho, since no one was able to make the weekend playdate,  her reward was the Barnes & Noble story time outing. 

It was nice! Not at all what I expected. I thought it was gonna be one reading and then peace out kids. But it was an hour long, at least it felt that way; 2 stories, hand puppet sing alongs, a little movement activity and arts & crafts (paperbag dragons for Chinese New Year) Leah loved the arts & crafts and movement portions. It is every weekend and I think it's the same old lady that does it, so there's consistency. This upcoming sat. she mentioned that she will bring in clementines for the kiddies, which I think represents good luck for the new year. Hope you guys get the opportunity to check out one day, it's nice and free!
