First of all, I'll start by telling you about myself and telling you about the group. I'm a 22 SAHM with an almost 10 month old daughter. We just moved here to Lufkin in November 2011 from Fort Worth. It's been a big change moving from such a big town to a small one. It's been hard for me to find things (her age related) for us to do together. We love to go to the park, go on walks, and go to the library. But most days, we just sit at home and play...all day long. So it's safe to say that both of us are getting a little stir crazy...WE NEED TO GET OUT AND MEET PEOPLE! This is where you guys come in! I don't care if your baby is younger or older, a friend is a friend, and babies love to watch each other cause chaos! As I mentioned in my welcome note, I don't know how successful this playgroup will be, but I'm taking my chances. It's not like I can go to the grocery store and ask people to randomly be my friend...then I would just be crazy...but seriously, it's kind of getting to that point. So welcome moms! Once more people join I will start posting outings at the park, and if you have a meetup idea, let me know!
