Looks like most people are new to Chico, so are we.  The library has an excellent preschooler (under 5) story time on Tuesdays at 10am or 11am.  They also have an under 3 story time on Fridays at 10am or 11am.  Lots of moms and kids at both times.  It's a great way to meet people and socialize.
