When Do Your Children Remind You How Much You Love Them
I just though it would be nice to start a thread about the things are kids do to make us smile.
For me it's the half sleepy smiles first thing in the morning.

I have too many to list, I love when she holds my checks and gives me hugs and kisses. She put her nose against mine and says mmmmm. And in the morning when she first gets up, she has very curly hair and it is sticking up everywhere or covering her face. It's so cute, she looks like she has a giant head.

I love when my son comes and tells me he loves me. He will just be playing and he will run over to me and tell me I love you. It is even more cute after he does something wrong or when he gets in trouble. But he just to cute their is just to many things I love about him.

Everytime he sees me his face lights up! And he always looks to make me laugh!

So many things make me love him, but if I had to pick one it would be when he giggles/laughs. It is so great that it makes me laugh too!

So many things, one thing I remember still very clearly is when my older son is only 15 months, and he hugs my neck with both of his hands and bring me closer to him and then gave me a kiss. I was like wow.... speechless and I just wish this moment last forever.....

The first time my son kissed me I cried. He put his hands on my cheeks, pulled my face close to his and planted a wet one right on my mouth. He was only 7 months old, so I really wasn't expecting it. Now, every time he does it my heart feels like it will burst.

One of the many things is when my son is playing on the floor and turns to me with his arms out for a hug, it melts my heart everytime, he just did it to his dad the other day for the first time and he was so happy too!!!

Just like everyone else, there are so many things. One thing is when his Daddy sings "Skinamarinkidinkidink, skinamarinkidoo, I Love You!" and Brody gets the biggest, most beautiful smile on his face in the middle of a crying spell. Another time is when he wants us to play the "chasing" game and he squeals to get our attention then takes off crawling and giggling.

There are sooo many things. I especially love it when after we have rocked and said prayers i go to take Sarah to bed and before we get to th bed she says "i love you" she is only19 months but it is sooo sweet. i also love when we pray and or bless the food and she says"Jesus name Amen" the way she says Amen is soo sweet. That is how me and her daddy says it now.

What a wonderfully positive post! I love it when I peek out into my daughter's room at night while my husband happens to be trying to calm our daughter back to sleep--I'll catch her gaze, open my eyes wide and smile only to be met with her mischevious giggle. My husband isn't usually amused by this, but our special "Mom and baby" bond swells my heart with joy as does my wonderful husband who insists he gets up with my daughter since he misses her all day while he's at work.

Soo many things.. the way they sneak into our bed at night, like we can't hear them.. I love it when they hug each other, and the way the two older ones are alwasys concerned about the baby..it makes me so happy to know that if (god forbid) somethin happened to me..they have such a good bond with each other...

I love it in the morning and after nap time when my 15 month old wakes up and says Hi, when I walk in the room. And when my older kids give me hugs and tell me they love me.

My favorite recent moment was at a family function a relative was holding my son and I walked by. He reached out his arms for me and said "Mama" for the very first time. This moment will forever stay etched in my memory and makes me happily teary just thinking about it!!! Nothing beats the unconditional love of your child!!!!

Whenever he kisses me or smiles. He's been kissing for some time now, but yesterday morning he woke up from his nap and took my face with both of his hands and kissed my nose. I love him more and more everyday.

As most of you have stated many things make me love my daughter, but one thing that makes me feel so special is when I have to leave her with her dad or with the sitter when I come home or go get her she runs to me and gives me a hug and a kiss as if I had been gone forever.

Well, when the Sunday school teacher told me that my son asked to have prayer for me because I am sick a lot (beginning of the pregnancy), and every day about 100x a day he says, "Mom, I love you so much in the whole wide world." OR "I love you slice (which is a word he defines as never-ending)."

Or on days like today, when I don't feel like I am anything special, ans he tells me how beautiful I am...

Those are the awesome times!

My favorite thing is when my daughter reaches for me and tries to give me kisses. She's only 6 months so she can't quite tell me she loves me, but when she reaches for me and opens her mouth real wide and puts it to my cheek just metls my heart

every time I look at him! even when he is cranky and I can't get him to stop crying. I have had enough miscarrages and had him 2 months premature that I don't take any smile giggle or cry for granted.
