Meditation for Children

Hi. We're parenting two young crystal children (2 and 3) and about to introduce meditation to them. I'm curious to know if anyone else has gone this route? What tools worked best?

hi. well i have not specifially led my daughter in meditation but when she was younger and i would discipline her she would start to meditate on her own.  when you introduce meditation they may surprise you in what they already know. i suggest making it fun, tell them that it is a time to be guiet and listen to the sounds around them and connect with the universe. do not focus so much on the way and just trust that you know how to help them.

if they are high energy it may help to use music to help them settle. there are many videos on youtube that are really relaxing and fun.

let us know how it goes and i am sure that you will do just fine.

Thanks Marsha! One is high-energy... it is nearly dumbfounding to see the affect mediation music has one them. It's like flippping a switch.

I'll let you know how it goes ;)
