I would like to send out a warm welcome to our latest two new members, Sharon and Ashley. Welcome aboard mommies. I am so sorry that it took me so long to welcome you all but I am sure you know how busy it is being a mom.
I want to make this group as fun and informative to all of us as possible. I would like to tell you a little about Mommy Network and how we came about. Mommy Network is actually a new group in the Charles County area that was developed by myself and Tarva Young, to be able to reach out and network with more moms in the area. We were searching for something or someplace where we could get together with like moms and share stories, memories and friendships. Also having a place where our kids can go to play and grow with other children was very important to us.
Our group is currently two members strong Tarva and myself, and growing. At Mommy Network we provide an unlimited amount of support and activities for each other, our children and our families. We currently have activities in place that range from New Member Breakfast, Weekly Playdates, Monthly Meetings, Monthly Moms Night Out, Special Events, Family Gatherings, Annual Trips, and much more. We are looking to start a book club and also a scrapbooking club.
Currently Mommy Network has a few sponsors offering discounts to our members. One of the major ones being BJ's Wholesale club, which offers huge membership discounts to Mommy Network members. Also members receive special discounts at online retailers and boutiques that offer products to moms and their families at already discounted prices.

Wow our membership is growing...Thank You!! I would like to welcome Joyce and Lady Love our two newest members. Ladies welcome aboard and please make yourself at home. I ask that everyone when you have the moment to not only read the above post to learn more about us, but to also check out the website and find out what's going on. I am going to begin using this board as well as the website to keep everyone informed on the different upcoming activities and events. As the weather gets warmer so does the fun here at Mommy Network. You can look forward to great Mommy Night Out events, entertaining playdates, and our summer Family Fun Picnic.
As stated above if you could please respond to this post, welcoming yourself to the group and letting us know more about you, that would be great.
