Mommy’s Day Off, Preschoolers Play Group

Currently Open: Wednesdays   (more days will be added as slots fill up limit 5 children per day)                          

Hours of operation: 9:30am-3:30pm

Cost: $30/d first child, $25/d per additional child

Serving children between ages: 2-5 years old (may accept younger/older children please contact for details)

The most rewarding job for both you and your children is choosing to be a stay at home parent. However, doing so does not come without challenges. As a stay at home mother of an only child, I understand your concerns. You wonder if your children are getting enough social interaction, you spend more time searching for community activities then you do participating in them, and every week that passes you get further behind on your chores.

For me I thought part time daycare was the answer to these problems only to have spent a lot of money to be very disappointed.  I have decided to open my home to parents just like myself and use my experiences to create the environment we all have been searching for, without the problems of a traditional day care.

As a parent you will enjoy:

-No enrollment fee, no activity fees, no hidden cost, no contracts, and no outrageous charges for being a few minutes late,

-you only pay for the days your children are here. Never fear paying for that sick day again, and be able to take a vacation without still owing the daycare for the week.

-pick up and drop of on your schedule

-A clean house in a good, safe neighborhood. Guaranteed to meet your standards.

-A day to yourself to attend doctor’s appointments, do the shopping, clean the house, run errands, or just relax

- You are welcome to stay and play with your children. I encourage all parents to stay for tea, coffee or lunch and observe your children’s social skills blossom.

-All inclusive, I supply the diapers/pull-ups/little swimmers, wipes, lunch, snacks, drinks, sun screen and laundry.

- BBQ’s for the whole family, this will give you the opportunity to meet other parents and your children’s new friends.

- Access to a privet Facebook page updated daily with photos and information about what activities your child(ren) has been doing and what activities are planned. Have the ability to talk with the other parents, see what the lunch/snack menu will be, etc.

-limited nap/rest time. This quiet time will be limited to (1) one hour, unlike daycare’s three hour quiet time. I feel you are paying for your children to be active and social, not to be quiet and sleep all day. 

-Real help with potty training if needed. Hourly scheduled bathroom breaks will train, remind, and reinforce potty training and good hygiene, hand washing before and brushing teeth after meals will be part of the daily activities.

-Parents have the opportunity to earn free days by volunteering time and referring friends.

-evening, weekend and overnight babysitting/childcare is available to children and the family once established in the playgroup program. This allows you and your child(ern) to feel safe and confident without the need of multiple locations and caregivers. Rates for this service will be $40 weeknight, $60 weekend night, $80 overnight.( Please ask for details,  includes up to 3 children per family)

Your Child(ern) will enjoy:

-clean, fun, educational toys, all in working order

-Fresh, nutritious, balanced meals, they help prepare themselves, to encourage healthy eating. Canned fruit and hotdogs are not on the menu!

-Activities such as, Bouncy House, age appropriate swing set, water play, sidewalk chalk, art projects, gardening, painting, baking, story time, special activities for birthdays, swimming/swimming lessons and theme days to include upcoming seasons and holidays.

This is child sitting service designed for your children to socialize and enjoy the company of their peers in a loving, safe and fun environment, while giving you or their primary caregiver the day off.
