I have a 12 year old son and I have a 5 month old daughter. I been unemployed since January and this summer has been wow. I feel I am missing out alot on a social life and I cannot seen to find something and my daughter and I can do during the week with other parents/daycare center. I emailed to volunteer in daycare centers to mingle and i cannot seem to find something. My son is starting school in September and I would love to start something with my daughter and pick up my son after. Any suggestions. It is really hard when I am unemployed with no money.

check out www.momsclub.org to see if there is a local chapter near you. Also check out music together, gymnastics (some offer a cheap drop in time), the library is a great place to with the little ones. Good luck, Helene
