I have never lived anywhere before that did not have at least one Mother's day out program...usually several of them...I live in a town of about 20,000 people right now and there are 4 different churches that have them...I use this time to write.

But we are moving back there in October and I just spent the last hour or so calling around to churches and getting the ohine equivalent of a blank stare...I am not sure what to do...I cannot afford to get private childcare for just a couple of days a week...but aside from going crazy without a break, I need to be able to finish this book...Does anyone know of a church with a Mother's Day Out Program...heck does anyone there even know what a Mother's Day Out Program is???...One lady made me repeat myself three times and then replied "Mother's Day"...no Mother's Day Out...usually organized by churches...most of them run year round, although somewhat more limited in the summer...you get to drop your kid or kids off for a few hours and get a break or get things done...In San Antonio it ran fron 9-2...here in Oklahoma it runs 9-3...it is really nice.
