Premature babies

Some people say that playing some kind of music helps the baby to grow healthier and quicker than normal conditions. Certainly, it won’t hurt your baby. Premature babies generally required more attention. They need help breathing and maintaining body temperature. Anemia is possible, and worst things like bleeding into the brain. Some preemies might experience learning disabilities and impaired hearing or vision. Breast milk might be a slow process since they need to develop their suck pattern and physical readiness. Your preemie should gain approximately 1/4 oz. per day for every pound weighs. Supplements are a good option as well. Finding blood in the stool or frequent vomiting could be signs of a serious condition. Call your doctor immediately if this or other preoccupying symptoms occur. Some premature babies may have a lowered body temperature with infection or other signs. Stay alert. Your baby needs you.
