Hello! My name is Katrina Tomlinson and my husband is active duty airforce. We are currently stationed in California but he has recently crosstrained into a new career field and we are headed to Tinker on July 19.
I have been very fortunate to have met a great group of moms here at our current base. My daughter and I spend time with them on a regular basis. We have playdates, go on outings etc. I am really hoping to have the same positive experience at Tinker so I thought I would introduce myself.
At our last base in Arizona I taught middle school but have been at home with our daughter since she was born on New Years Eve 2009. I am hoping to go back to teaching at some point but for now I am a stay at home mom. I am a friendly and laid back people person. I enjoy reading, going to movies, and game nights with friends.. My daughter's name is Kennedy and she has inherited my love of people. She has never met a stranger which is a good and bad thing. Haha...
I would love to hear from other moms about things to do on base or nearby. Play groups you may be involved in our just things about the area. I have never been to Oklahoma :) |
