Joging stroller
I'm looking into buying a joging stroller but kinda scared because it looks so huge and I keep thinking will I actually run with it and push it along with my baby in it? It seems like too much weight to push. Does anyone jog and what are your experiences, what kind of strollers should I look at, what's out there? Thanks ladies I'd appreciate some advise on this one.

I have a bob stroller, and love it. We use it for more than running. We use it at the mall(all day trips), family outing etc. I got lucky and found mine at a resale shop. It has a swivel wheel, and very light weight. I still paid more than 100 dollars, but new they are like 300. Check out your local resale stores. I went to a thrift goodwill store the other day and they had a tandem schwinn sitting there for 40 dollars!

Esther, I have a baby trend expedition jogging stroller. I had bought it for jogging, and I use it for more. It is our second stroller so I don't have to worry about transfering it from car to car. However, it is very bulky and takes up a lot of room. The best bet would be for you to find one that has a swivvel front wheel as mine does not have that and it makes it difficult to control. I spent 120 on mine from babies r us. good luck.

Hello,

I have a Jeep jogging stroller. It is definately not too heavy to push even though it may seem that way. I had a hard time deciding which one to get but this one had a little sterring wheel with a horn so I got this one. Alicia loves it. I paid 130 at Babies R Us. It was DEFINATELY worth it. Before I traded my truck in it was my primary stroller, but now that I have a car I had to switch back to my Graco stroller because it is a lot more bulky and difficult to get in and out of the trunk. Mine has a swivel wheel in the front, I really like that...and the pockets it has on the side because if we do go on an outing it comes in handy. Also, I can plug in my walkman and have music when I am jogging so it has just been really great.

Hope that advice helps!

I got a BumbleRide Rocket jogging stroller and love it. I run every other day, and it doesn't seem that heavy to me. Plus, I fold it up and use it for errands, etc. It has a swivel wheel (which can also lock in place), so it is easy to move around in stores. I also love the colors they offer. I got mine at www.tinyride.com. Can't remember how much I paid, but it was around $300. I would also suggest looking at www.epinions.com and see what other people say about strollers they bought. Hope that helps!

If you do look into the Jeep brand strollers, be careful about examining what their acutal use is. We have the all terain one with the little steering wheel and music accessory, but it states that particular one is NOT intended for jogging because of the ease it can tip over while jogging. We absolutely love the stroller for everything else, though. Just be careful and read the inserts that go with it and not go by how it looks because it looks just like the Jeep jogging stroller we've seen.

We have a Bob jogging stroller. My husband runs with it and I use it for power walking - but we also use it for the mall, festivals, etc. Easy to manuever and lightweight. We have a girl and we got the new pink and brown Bob - love it
