Hello!  I am a first time mom of a beautiful three month old daughter who has GERD.  My hopes of joining this group are to get some answers or suggestions from Mothers who have been through the process of mothering a child with GERD.  As of now, my daughter is on Prevacid, which has not seemed to make that much of a difference for her.  We are battling with fussiness, spitting up, lack of sleep and lack of interest in eating.  Any suggestions or helpful hints on how you dealt with GERD with your child is welcomed with open arms!  Thank you so much!

hi julie. so glad you decided to join the group! i am a mom to a (now) four year old son. he was diagnosed with gerd at a few months of age as well. i can say that his baby month were the thoughest time of our lives, but we got through it, and you can too. i have one question. are you breastfeeding? if you are, you might want to consider haveing a very bland diet. this could help to some degree. good luck, and congratulations on your new little miracle!
