Hi!  My name is Jamie and we have been stationed at Tinker since the middle of January.  I am a stay at home mom and am starting to get a little lonely without my friends and family close.  I have taken my son to the toddler playgroup on base a couple times and there aren't very many people/kids there.  I would love to be able to take him to the park and get in some socializing of my own...rather than just "toddler talk"...anyone else feeling like this too?

Hi Jamie, my name is Jocelyn. We have been stationed here at Tinker since Feb 2011. I think about the same time you got here. Have you had any luck meeting new friends or finding another playgroup? Im currently working but I have a 3 year old who I have at the CDC. I am thinking about quiting and staying at home with him again. I am looking for someone who would be interested in starting a playgroup or just getting together with our kids and letting them play and we could get to know eachother.
