Is there anyone else out there that is dealing with apraxia or a speech delay?  My son is 2 1/2 and I am very concerned with his speech.

Most states have programs that offer speech therapy for children at little or no cost.  They usually come to your house once or twice a week for an hour.  Talk to your son's Dr. to get information on who to contact in your area.  We did it for our son and it helped him a great deal.  And, he loved it !  The therapists make the learning fun!
