New to FL, looking for friends!

Hi! We've been here for 7 months now and we're finding it hard to meet friends with kids. Our son is 8, high energy little boy! We love being outside, bike riding on Pinellas Trail, stopping at a park for lunch, beaches/pool play, anything! I'm looking for "play dates" for my son as well as myself!! We do not know anyone here so we have no babysitters. It would be awesome to meet some families and all get together and hang out. I'm 36, husband is 35 (he works quite a bit, M-Sat).
