Hello!

My name is Rosemary and I am new to the Augusta area. My husband is in the military and we just arrived from an overseas location. We are new parents, and I would love to meet mothers in the area, become part of a playgroup and establish new connections. I've decided to stay home with our little daughter for a couple of years and I definitely want to make new friends who have children. Life has changed dramatically in recent months, new baby, new area, and I would love to meet new friends with common interests to interact with regularly.

Rosemary - i know this is an old post but i was wondering if you have had any luck with a playgroup? my son is 14 months, my husband and i work opposite shifts so we're with him all the time and i think he would benefit from more social interaction. I'm not military anymore but i'm a contractor on base. i work 2nd shift so a morning playdate would work great. let me know if you are interested in setting something up or if you know of a play group that is active.
