I've moved to Tucson, AZ from my beautiful So Cal, CA four months ago and trying to find mommy groups so I join Meetup and haven't heard anything. What else can a first time stay at home mom do? My baby is 7months so not much to do without spending lots of money we just don't have. Can someone give me advice? All I have here in this town is my mother in law but were not close so I need to make friends.

I am fromTucson too. Have you search for groups on Meetup? Last time I checked there were couple mommy groups. But I guess it all depends on where you live in Tucson. Also, have you gone to your local library to check if they have any activities for kids your son's age?
