Stay at home Mom

Hello!  I am a stay at home mom looking for a group in the area that offers mommy and me time as well as some story and play groups.  I would like to start offereing childcare from my home and am looking to care for 3 children, preferably from one family I can work closely with and build a bond with.

Hello Brianne!

I found that this group isnt very active but I'm part of a Moms Group (if u have Facebook, I can add u to the group) that tries to get together for playdates about 1x/wk.. Sometimes at one of the mom's house, other times at child friendly events in the area.. Some of the moms attend Storytimes @ the libraries.. We havent gone to story for awhile now but would like to start going again.. I also attend a weekly playgroup @ the Howe Resource Center every Fri from 9:30-11:30am.. Its awesome!.. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom, but have been debating about going back to work since $$ has been really tight lately.. But finding a reliable/affordable sitter has been holding me back.. If u would like to talk more, you can reply here or add me on FB, my name is Daisie Lee Mathias.. I look forward to hearing from u soon! Have a good day! :)

Too funny Bri! I saw your post right away and had to send you a note!

I just joined this group for two reasons.

#1 - I'm one of the crazy mom's looking for balance and tips in the world of parenthood.

#2 - I'm also looking for an avenue to let other parents know about the wonderful part-time flexibility we offer at Home Instead Senior Care!

We are growing and it is challenging to find caring people in our community looking for Part--time permanent work.

Please spread the word about our service. We help seniors stay at home and we have a wonderful growing familly of caregivers.  We are currently hiring for Part-time weekends where you can spend a few hours with a local senior on the weekends and help with non-medical needs. I thought this might be a great venue to search for caring mothers who want to be home when their kids are home and still earn income. Best of all feel good doing it!

Later Bri!
