Sleeping in the Crib.

My son is 4 months old and sleeps from 8pm to 2am. At 2am he wakes up whining. When I try to put him back to sleep he does not stay asleep unless i put him in me and my husbands bed and he sleep inbetween us. So from 2am to about 7am, he sleeps perfect inbetween my husband and I. Do you ladies have any tips on how I can try to get him to stay in his crib through the night?? Thank you!!

My son does the same and he is now 18 months old... It works for us so we don't even bother to put him back in his crib. We love to have our evenings to ourselves (he starts the night in his crib at about the same time as your son) but we also love to wake up with him by us and see his little face getting excited for the day. Sorry for not offering a "solution" but maybe that'll help you not feel bad about your situation.

My husband and I have the same situation with our 17 month old daughter. To be honest we love having her sleep inbetween us. I for sure sleep better when she is next to me. I don't have to worry as much about waking up and having to checking on her. Plus they are not going to be babies for long. We should enjoy every moment they want to be with us. Before we know it they will be teenagers.
