They basically mean that you could be having a miscarriage. Your HCG levels will usually increase each day. So on Monday you want to see that your levels have increased and that is a sign that things are ok. If the levels are the same or have gone down that could be a sign of miscarriage. I wouldn't worry to much though. If you are only 3-4 weeks pregnant I am not surprised that they saw nothing on the ultrasound. Baby is basically just cells this early...that is why obs usually wait untill at least 6 to 8 weeks to do dating ultrasounds because they know they may not see anything on it and it just causes worry. I have been through miscarriage 3 times so I know a little about this...lol. In the meantime untill you see your OB....rest as much as possible...no intercourse....and plenty of fluids.

Repeating what Katie said- most doctors don't use the term miscarriage. They call them "spontaneous abortions". (A very "nasty" term for something very scary and not a choice at all) I have been there (5 miscarraiges before being blessed with our baby boy)

Don't stress! You should rest with your feet up, drink lots more fluids than you think you need, and no SEX!

If this happens to be a miscarraige, I am very sorry. I understand. May God Bless you! I will keep you in my prayers.
