Hi im a new mom looking for other mom friends that like to go out and about. I dont like sitting at home board cuz i do alot of that already.I just moved here to davie fl, my husbands job takes him all over the US so its hard for me to find friends. Im willing to get to know people and have get togethers.

Ladies- I completely understand! The only issue with get togethers and play dates is distance! I live in Rural West Michigan (we have distance and weather playing against us for get togethers). We are basically shut in this winter because the baby is too small to enjoy going outdoors in the cold. BLAH!

I have heard of many positive relationships formed over the internet and many long-distance friendships. Maybe you could try something like that?

I would try meetup.com and look for mom groups or playdates. Also libraries have story time for babies and you can talk to the mommies. :) Good luck I am in the same boat as you.
