I took my one yr. old to the er at 3 am and they said that he has a viro infection and they gave him so ibprofen and I wanted to know is it really good to give them that or is Tylenol better for them to take. I thought tylenol was better because there was no asprin.  If you know what one is better could you please let me know. thanks!!! Also how do you know when they don't need anyore the dr. said if he has a fever well his fever is staying around 100. my poor baby is sickCryFrown

until they are 6 months tylenol is better after that go by what the doc says because ibuprofen and acetim treat things slightly different

oh ok thank you. I read the back of the ibuprofen bottle and it said something about ashma so I'm going to ask his doc. because my son has asma. Thank you very much for your info, it is greatly appreciatted....
