OK Ladies, since we have 6 members now (hey, you have to start someplace right??) I thought we could plan a group meet up to meet and get to know one another. I was thinking possibly Monday Dec 20th. I know with the holidays approaching it may be difficult to get together since some of us may be going out of town. We could always meet before then, but I would have to opt for an after 3pm meet up ( I teach preschool every morning and my little one naps from 1-3) So let me know your thoughts. Would you rather try and meet before the week of the 20th in the afternoon or would the week of the 20th be good for everyone in the morning (I'm on Christmas break starting the 20th). What about places to meet. I'm on James Island, let me know where you all are and we'll discuss an easy to get to place for everyone. Look forward to hearing from everyone!

I'm out in Ravenel, and mornings are good for me, but I think my husband will have our car since my mother in law will be flying in that day.  I'm willing to have an open house get together at my home any time though :).  Afternoons before the 20th I'm more likely to have a way to get to where ever we meet up.

I am here on James Island also. I have a part time job and make my own hours...so, I am totally down on planning something on the twentieth. I say the only way we can pull this off is just by making a date, and that's it. It seems like people only talk about meeting up, but nothing ever happens.

Alison I agree! I am going to put a date and time on the calendar then. Ideas on places?? I wanted to try and pick a central place, that wasn't that far for anyone. Probably should pick an indoor place?? Since it's quite chilly outside.

Yes, indoor this time please!  I like the cold, but Katherine is still so tiny that I worry about her cold little hands.  Whatever time/date you decide, I will try to make it :)

There used to be a kids area at the mall, but it's not there anymore. There's a place called Party Kingdom on James Island (think Chuck E Cheese, only way nicer). Would anyone be interested in meeting there??

What time works best for everyone. I say while we're such a new group with only a few members, we try an accomodate as many of us as possible. As we grow, things will just go up on the calendar and if you can make it, you can make it. Not everyone will be able to make everything. But in our "infancy" stages, I thinks it's best to get everyone's opinions. The times that work best for me are. 10am-12pm or after 3pm.

Probably 3pm for me, but if not I can make it during the other time and leave early. I have an appointment downtown at 12:30. Let me know because I can post it up  on the other play groups and see if we can get some more people.
