I just found this awesome site – it’s a huge directory & parent resource for LOCAL kids activities, lessons, classes & camps.It’s called Activitytree.com.It’s free to use – if you sign up with a “myactivitytree” account it’ll optimize the search results for you, but it’s not necessary to use the site (though now that I’ve signed up for my own account, I’d really recommend it).
You can search by zip code for like 80 different types of activities (did ya know your kid needed 80 activities to keep them busy?Lol!).The search results give you contact info, a map to the location, their website if they have one & a description of what’s offered.You can even register for some of the activities right through Activity Tree!
Their blog is pretty cool too – there’s activity and mommy experts to answer questions like what activities are best for you kid based on their age, interests, personalities, etc.You can even watch videos of actual classes and camps to see if you like them.
