Me and my hubby just found out I am pregnant with my first child am about 5 weeks wen is a good time to tell our parents about the baby.

We told our parents right after we found out we were pregnant. I would say there is no set time its just what you feel comfortable with, with me it was my first as well and i couldnt hold the excitement in, i had to tell them. Congrats and good luck!

I have to agree with Alisha. We shared our news immediately with our families--both times. But the first time is especially exciting, so I would say that you should tell them when you feel comfortable doing so. After all, won't they be excited too??? Congrats!:-)

I did it when my doctor gave the OK! wich is usually after the first ultrasound.  We didn't want to get everyone excited until we were sure the pregnancy was safe.
