Hi I am a new mom. My son Nolan was born Aug 7 2010 and I am trying to keep him entertained when he is awake and I feel like I dod the same thing over and over again. I sing to him, I talk to him, I give him tummy time, back time and we go for walks. It's going to start getting really cold and I am not sure what to do to pass time. Any suggestions?

My daugther liked those Baby Einstein videos starting at about 3 months old.  Not sure how you feel about your son watching tv, but for me it was great to put her in her bouncy seat for about 30 minutes to watch a video while I got a few things done around the house.  Other than that we pretty much did the same things you're doing...they are pretty easy to entertain at that age.  She also liked rattles or anything she could get ahold of and shake and loved for me to read to her (still prefers books over toys).

We read to our son a lot and he really liked to play in his exersaucer.  Other than that we did pretty much the same things you're doing.  Keep up the great work.
