How old is he? My son was diagnosed at 18 months, and like you I knew something was wrong at about 6 months. I was in MD with no friends and family because my husband was in the military and we were living off Fort Meade. He was gone all the time. So I know how you feel.
It is rough, isn't it? Day to day life with Autism can be so draining. I find that we go through phases. Right now, things are pretty good, hold on while I find some wood to knock on! We just have some behavior issues but overall my son is doing well. He is almost 4.
