Hi ladies,
My baby girl just had her 1st birthday and my return to the workforce is unavoidable. I'm trying to slowly wean her from the breast but she will not drink whole milk. I even tried it with a little added flavoring. WHAT NEXT? |

My daughter did the same thing!!! She is 20 months old and just in the last month began taking milk regularly. I used a toddler formula and mixed milk and increased the quantity slowly over time. There were days when she would take nothing. So I gave her Calcium fortified cheese and Whole yogurt. She now drinks about 12-14 ounces of milk daily and the doc said that was perfect!!!!! It went on for months, but I realized that I was more concerned than she was. She grew just fine, and the doc says she is healthy!!!! Now she eats cereal with milk with her own spoon. It will happen don't worry!!!!!!!!!! |

Have you tried soy milk? I don't care for the taste but my nephews drink it. They don't like cows milk, so my sister started using soy. I have also seen that they now make formula for 12 to 24 months, it may be worth a try. |

My son is 15 mon and I having the same problem. I got him to drink a bottle of it and about 10 mintues or so later he threw it all back up. I have been feeding him soy formula since he was about two months old. I have been feeding he the next step soy formula and he drinks that right down. So i don't know his little belly doesn't handle milk well or what. |

Hope, I have the same problem with Emilie, and her father had it too. She drinks soy formula since 3 months, I tried to give her a little yogurt and she threw it right up. I plan to use soy milk when she is ready. |
