We used to always do the fire station tour every year through Parents As Teachers but since they've cut their programs this year, I'd like to still take Dom to a firehouse. I know they will do tours for playgroups. Any interest in this? I'd be happy to call and set it up...maybe for a Wednesday morning? I'd only want to do it if we could get enough of an interest. I know they are super busy in October with Fire Safety month at schools, so we'd probably be looking at early November. What do you think?
I plan to call this week. There is a fire station off of Cave Springs which I thought might be somewhat in the middle of everyone. Amanda also said she was interested. Before I make the call, is there any Wednesday in November or last half of October that does NOT work for anyone interested? I'm sure they are probably booked for October but I'll ask. I will also have to double check to see if there is a minimum number of people needed for a tour. Let me know!
I have a call in to the woman who schedules the tours at all of the Central County stations. She is out of the office until tomorrow so hopefully I'll have something on the calendar tomorrow or the next day! Going to shoot for one of the first 2 Wednesdays in November.
