Hi, my name is Katie.  I am a stay at home mom of two wonderful girls (2 1/2 & 1 1/2).  I am looking to meet others in the area to get my kids and myself involved with.  We are fairly new to the area and are looking to explore what is around.  We live in Ruther Glen and are okay driving (have not found much real close to us), we drive to Fredericksburg often for many things.  Hope to get to meet some of you soon!

Though I am "new" too.  I am also a SAHM so I totally understand and without the GPS would be lost.  Not sure if you have checked out the Libraries and unfortunately, I am not familiar with your area yet; but the local libraries have programs for your daughters and may be a good place for all of you.  We have enjoyed it and it has been a nice way to get to know the area.  http://www.librarypoint.org

Thanks for the information.  We are fortunate enough to have a library a block away and we do attend their storytime/crafts once a week.  The girls really enjoy it.
