Refusing Solids??
I started feeding my now almost 6 mth old daughter solids when she turned 4 mths. She was fine and feeding normally but suddenly 2 weeks ago she started refusing solids.......I have tried giving her different things, some that she loved before like banana but she refuses to open her mouth or spits it out.....i think she is teething......could it be becoz of that..... did any one have this experience???? If so when do u think she will start solids again??

I'm not there yet, but I've read that babies go through stages of what they want/like. So keep trying them, she'll eat them again eventually. I'm not sure what foods she ate before, but what if you puree them so it's softer on her teeth. That way you'll know if it's her teeth hurting or if she's going through a phase.

It could be because she is teething. Be patient and continue to offer solids, but don't push the issue if she refuses. She'll get what she needs from her formula or breast milk. If it is teething, and it has already been going on for 2 weeks, she'll probably cut one through pretty soon, and then start to enjoy eating again. You could try freezing some fruit and giving it to her in a mesh feeder. It can soothe her gums and allow her to enjoy some solids at the same time.

It is probably teething at her age. My son always gets really fussy about his food when a tooth is coming in.
