All aboard for the best birthday party ever!  Thomas the Tank Engine is coming to the N.C. Transportation Museum in Spencer  for the Day Out With Thomas: The Celebration Tour 2010.  This fun-filled event offers preschoolers and their families the opportunity to take a ride with a 15-ton replica of Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends series, a meet & greet with Sir Topham Hatt, a special display celebrating 65 years of Thomas the Tank Engine & lots of other fun activities for the whole family.

Thomas is in town September 24-26 & October 1-3 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

You can get tickets at www.nctrans.org.  They’re $16 or $18 depending on the day & kids under 2 are free.  Museum members get a $2 discount on weekend tickets when using their membership number in the promo code.
