Today my workout got cut short....the lady from the Tot Watch came to get me because my son had a "diaper issue" and they don't do diapers. So I got 30min. in on the eliptical. Better than nothing, but another 30min. on the bike would have been better.

Don't do diapers! Good grief!

And if they are the wearing diapers age then you can't just come change them and go back or they freak!

I suppose the trend to try an keep people from being exposed to illness is part of the reason for this.

But it is a day care facility is it not. I mean not full fledge but they are suppose to watch your child for you thats like saying, oops you rchild fell and cut their head we don't do blood so your going to have to come and clean them up. That is ridiculous. At least you still got 30 minutes in.

The Tot Watch is a great play place but they have a policy of not changing diapers or giving bottles to infants. I don't think they are a "daycare" facility which may be why. I went down and changed my son, but then he pitched a fit about me leaving again. He is used to the routine that when I come back in, it's time to go. And when you are 2 years old, you want what you want and it wasn't worth the tantrum. They come and get you anyways if your child has been carrying on for more than 15min.

I've heard of other fitness center kid watch programs being like this. It may have something to do with their loal child care licensing regulations. I know there are a lot of interesting interpretations and applications to Oklahoma's licensing laws. For instance, if you watch your neighbor's child everyday in your home for pay, you have to be licensed. But if you go to that neighbor's house and watch that same child, the same amount of time, for the same amount of pay, nobody has to be licensed.

You just never know what weirdness the facility is having to deal with from other "interested parties."
