I am not yet a mother but I am trying.  I want to be a stay at home mom but I will need to do a job from home to bring in a little income. I was wondering if any of you have any ideas that I can do when I am a stay at home mom?

Hi Morgan, I am a stay at home mom also and am trying to work from home. So far, I haven't made much money doing it, but am working on establishing myself a little bit better first. Have you thought about opening up your home to babysit some local children? I would give you a little bit of a trial run before you have children. Also, if you type well and have a good listening ear, you could consider doing some transcriptioning. I have worked for Quicktate before. You type voicemails and other things. You get paid per word and it's not much, but it does add up. They say that if you can type 50 words per minute and work full-time, you can make around $5-7 an hour. They are legitimate and I have been paid by them through Paypal. Other than that, most other work at home opportunities require you to pay something up front and you might end up losing money.
