My child has been attending speech therapy and OT therapy. I would like to hear from others whose children are going through these therapy sessions and hear more about the results. I also had his old OT therapist make a remark that we have to break him down to get him to do some things. This remark upset me terribly. He could have meant that we have to get him to understand there are some things he has no choice but to do but as a therapist that was an awful thing to say. My first thought was what if we break down the part of him that makes him who he is. Please let me know your opinions on this. Am I overreacting?
