I apologize for not being a little more active. I haven't had an opportunity to get on a secure connection on my computer without getting disconnected (I have dial-up).
I was wondering if everyone would be interested in having a discussion about perhaps getting together for an outing in the neighborhood? The weather is perfect now, and it would be a great opportunity to take advantage of some time outside with our little ones. Let me know what most of you think and where would be a good location. I'm not sure how many of you are near each other, but if you are interested, I can list a number of parks nearby that I'm aware of that might be good places to meet.
Also, I was hoping maybe we could share some ideas about what might be a good way to do Halloween. Is anyone aware of any special events in the Andersonville/Edgewater area for little ones at Halloween? If I learn of any, I'll certainly post them here. Cheetah Gym used to sponsor a costume contest that all ages of children could enter. Contestants would get voted on when they visited merchants on Clark St. It was very fun. I used to work at The Landmark of Andersonville, and would see some amazing costumes. If they plan to do this again, I'll update you on it.
In the meantime, feel free to share more information about yourselves and your children. It'd be great to get to know one-another!
Take care, and hope to hear from you, soon.
