Hello ladies! I'm still fairly new to this site but just wanted to share a hair tip I found for thick, frizzy hair. If you have this type of hair than you know how some days it's impossible to do anything with it. So... after looking, and looking, and looking on line then buying and trying EVERYTHING, I finally thought "the opposite of dry is firzzy, so..." to make a long story short I did a little more research and then tried baby oil. This of course made it look really greasy. So then I looked for what helps oily/greasy hair and found baby powder. I applied a small hand full of this after the baby oil, brushed thoroughly, and WALA! I was mad that something so simple and cheap did the trick after months of trying everything, especially after having my hair highlighted every few months which just adds to the craziness of frizz! I only do the oil/powder application every couple days so it looks healthy/shiney and not greasy or buid up. One other thing I'll mention that I use is Dove shampoo & conditioner(seperately), only shampooing every 2-3 days and use conditioner alone on the days I don't shampoo. (Shampooing every day dries it out) And last but not least, a straightener to get all the waves out. It was a cheap $10 bucks and works fine. If anyone else has some other unknown remedies or products that work great, please share or tell of your experience with frizz. |
