hi my name is lauren and I'm a 24 wahm. I have two daughters josie-4 and jenevere-1. I'm having alot of trouble having them get along. It's not even my oldest that is the trouble....jenevere is constantly scratching and biting her sister! I don't know what to do. Josie starts screaming now as soon as her sister looks at her which only makes jen start scratching again. I have tried explaining to josie to tell her no and that she is a bab ybut she really seems to take it personal. I don't know what to do to get it to stop. The only way I can have peace is if I separate them. I feel like this is only a temporary fix though and I want them to be able to play together. Anyone have any suggestions? Is this something that will pass with age?

Lauren, I feel your pain! I have 3 boys and the oldest and the youngest are constantly at it. As for myself, I come from a family of 4 girls, we fought like cats and dogs growing up and NEVER got along.It seemed like we would play together for a while only before another fight would start!!!We are now in our 30's and 40's and are best of friends! I know its not much help but siblings will be siblings...male or female!!!

It will pass with age for sure...you just may have to wait till they are in their 30's!!!!
